Revolutionary Glass Protection System Completed at The Avenues – Riyadh

Diamon-Fusion International (DFI) has finalized work on the insulated skylight glass units for The Avenues – Riyadh, a flagship development poised to become the Middle East’s largest commercial mall. The achievement marks another major step in bringing world-class architectural glass technology to one of the region’s most ambitious construction projects.

DFI’s contribution was delivered in collaboration with Al Abbar Group, which managed the engineering, manufacturing, and installation of the skylight systems. Every glass panel was treated with DFI’s Diamon-Fusion® nanocoating, specified from the outset to enhance the long-term performance and durability of the structure.

Applied directly at the factory, the Diamon-Fusion coating forms a clear, protective layer that shields the glass from corrosion and environmental wear. The treatment boosts hydrophobic behavior, minimizes cleaning demands, and offers increased resistance to scratching and impact thanks to its lower surface friction—all while retaining full optical transparency.

Through this project, DFI continues to demonstrate how advanced glass-coating technologies can elevate modern architecture, contributing both aesthetic value and long-term sustainability to large-scale developments.
